37-Year-Old From Stratford Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash A 37-year-old Fairfield County man was killed during a two-vehicle crash. The collision occurred in Bridgeport on Thursday, Dec. 14 at Housatonic Avenue and Wells Street. Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management, said Bridgeport officers responded to the area and found a  man who driving an Italica motor scooter RX 150 on the ground. The discovery was made in Fairfield County around 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.  "This is an active investigation and currently no further information is available," Bridgeport Emergency Management said in a statement issued just after 6:30 p.m. Monday. Hit-Run: Police Asking For Help Identifying Vehicle Involved In Bridgeport Incident Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle and its driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Bridgeport. Man Accused Of Sexually Exploiting Child In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a child. Franklin Eaton, of Norwalk, was arrested on Tuesday, March 22 by the Bridgeport Police following a months-long investigation. The investigation began in October 2021 after the family of a child victim received a disturbing letter alleging the child had been sexually exploited by a known person, said Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management. Fairfield County Man Shot Dead Steps Away From Nightclub, Police Say A Fairfield County man was found shot to death just steps away from a popular nightclub he had just left. Raheem Lynch, age 24, of Bridgeport, was killed around 2 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, just minutes after exiting, Mystique nightclub at 2456 Main St., in Bridgeport. According to Scott Appleby, director of the Bridgeport Emergency Management, the shooting occurred only a few doors away from the club. Man Charged For Fatal Shooting Outside Lounge In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been charged with the murder of another man outside an area lounge. Robert Sorrells, age 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 21 for the murder of Jonathan DaSilva, according to Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management.  Bridgeport Police Det. Teen Found Shot On Sidewalk Of Street In Fairfield County, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are investigating a shooting that left a teen seriously injured. It happened around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, at 4 Rockridge Circle in Bridgeport. When officers responded they found the 17-year-old on the sidewalk adjacent to Building #11 of the Stone Ridge Co-Op, according to Scott Appleby, director of the Bridgeport Emergency Management.
