Officer Matt Silvestrini died peacefully while surrounded by family at his home on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 3, the Middletown Police Department in Middlesex County announced. George “Georgie” Chatzopoulos, the co-owner of Chip's Family Restaurant in the Town of Fairfield, died on Monday, Jan. 10 at the age of 55.
