CT 39-Year-Old Woman Killed In Fiery Crash After Hitting Tree A 39-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a fiery crash after crashing into a tree. The collision occurred in New London County around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 12 on Route 85 in Colchester. According to the Connecticut State Police, the victim, identified as Tolland County resident Alycia Ziegler, of Andover, was traveling northbound on Route 85 in a Subaru Ascent when for an unknown reason the vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and struck a large tree.  The Subaru then caught fire, state police said. Silver Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Girl From CT Police are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl from Connecticut who was last seen over the weekend. Abigail Ciparelli has been missing from the Tolland County town of Andover since Saturday, May 7, according to a Silver Alert from Connecticut State Police. Police said Abigail may have gotten into a blue or gray sedan before she went missing. Abigail is described as being 5-foot-4 and 150 pounds, with auburn hair and brown eyes, authorities said. 44-Year-Old Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash, CT State Police Say A head-on crash in Connecticut led to the death of a driver at an area hospital, state police announced. In Tolland County, a 34-year-old driver was traveling east on Route 6 in Andover at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22 when he lost control and veered into the opposite lane, striking Windham County resident Andrew Moore, of Moosup, near the intersection of Route 87. The driver struck Moore, age 44, head-on, and both men were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
