Do You Know Them?: Police Hoping To ID Smoke Shop Robbers Police in Connecticut are asking for the public's help to track down a group of people who robbed a Fairfield County smokeshop earlier this year.  Police were called to S&B Smoke Shop at 1224 Park Ave in Bridgeport just after 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 23.  An employee had chased someone out into the street after they stole several items from the store. Bridgeport Police canvassed the area but were unable to find the suspects. 6-Year-Old Dies After Baseball Bat Attack: Police A 6-year-old boy who was beaten into critical condition along with his 4-year-old sibling and mother has died, authorities announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.  The attack happened at a Fairfield County apartment in the 2400 block of Main St. in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Sept. 25, authorities said.
