Video: Missing Dog That Turned Herself In To CT Police Reunited With Owner A missing dog has been reunited with its owner after turning itself in to police on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after a week on the run.  Comet, the golden retriever, showed up at the Waterford Police Department Tuesday morning with a few injuries after her brief week on the run. The tragedy unfolded Friday morning, Dec. 28, at a home on the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road. Emergency responders were called to the property around 6:31 a.m. after Bucks County 911 received a report of an unconscious man on the first floor of a detached office/in-law suite, police said. Wethersfield Firefighter Killed In Meriden ID'd: 'Words Can't Express Magnitude Of This Loss' A Connecticut firefighter who was killed when the ATV he was on rolled over while battling a blaze has been identified as a grandfather and former member of the Hartford Fire Department.  Robert "Sharky" Sharkevich Sr., age 66, was working as a member of the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, Oct. 22, fighting a brush fire that had spread to more than 90 acres on Lamentation Mountain in Berlin, Meriden Police said.  Sharkevich and three other firefighters were in Meriden on the southern edge of the blaze, riding a firefighting ATV that flipped around 5:30 p.m.…

15-Year-Old Rescued After Nearly Drowning At CT Residence Bystanders and emergency responders revived a 15-year-old after being found in the water of a CT apartment complex pool. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Concierge Apartments in Rocky Hill. According to Sgt. Jeffrey Foss-Rugan of the Rocky Hill Police, the teen, was found unconscious by bystanders who began performing CPR while calling 911. Responding police officers quickly located the teen and continued medical aid until Rocky Hill Volunteer Ambulance and Aetna Ambulance arrived.  Foss-Rugan said the juvenile regained consciousness…
