'We're All Going To Miss Him': Norwalk Family Mourn's Father Of 4's Sudden Death Dwight St. John came from a long line of Connecticut builders and developers, but his passion wasn't on solid ground, his sister Jill St. John said.  The 59-year-old lifelong Fairfield County resident could captain nearly any boat, he was quick with a joke and a laugh, and he loved to tool around on his Harley Davidson with a long-time buddy on nice days.  Dwight was struck while riding his bike on Saturday, Sept. 14, when a truck hit him as he crossed an intersection in his hometown of Norwalk. CT 31-Year-Old Dies After Crashing Into Guardrail A Connecticut man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a guardrail. The incident occurred in Litchfield County at 5 p.m., Aug. 12, in New Hartford. According to the Connecticut State Police, a Hartford County man, identified as Robert Holcomb, age 31, of Farmington, was found by troopers suffering from severe injuries on westbound Route 44. He was rushed by ambulance to Winsted Health Center in Winsted, where he was pronounced dead, state police said. 27-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle CT Crash A 27-year-old Connecticut man died after failing to negotiate a right curve and striking a metal guardrail on Route 148. The crash occurred in Middlesex County just before 1:20 a.m., Thursday, June 20, near the Cedar Lake Road intersection in Chester. According to the Connecticut State Police, Sean Francis Guiheen of Killingworth was heading west on Route 148 on a 2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road and veered into the eastbound lane and struck a metal guardrail. It happened just before 11:10 p.m. Friday, June 7, in Stamford at 100 Bridge St. in Scalzi Park, An initial investigation revealed that Oscar Chinchilla-Najarro, a 23-year-old Stamford resident, was operating a 2001 Kawasaki dirt bike in the park.
