Christmas Day CT Hit, Run Crash Sends Victim To Hospital In Critical Condition Investigators in Connecticut are asking for the public's help to track down a car that they believe crashed into someone walking along the side of the road on Christmas, severely injuring them, and did not stop, authorities said.  The crash happened just before 7:45 p.m. in front of 26 Lake Ave. in Danbury, authorities said. The victim was left lying on the side of the road with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. Alleged Kidnapping Leads To 6 Arrests, 3 Injured Officers In CT An alleged kidnapping of two people in Fairfield County led to six arrests and three injured officers. The incident occurred in Danbury at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, in the area of Clapboard Ridge Road near Dogwood Lane.  According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department, police responded to a call reporting three men in a van assaulted another man before pushing him inside the vehicle and speeding away. Fatal Overnight Crash: 57-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Danbury A 57-year-old Fairfield County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a rock embankment. The incident occurred in Danbury around 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the area of 39 Brushy Hill Road. According to Erin Henry, a spokesman for the Danbury Police, Charles Preston, of Danbury, was found in the roadway by patrol officers who responded to a reported accident in the area.
