She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Feb. 10, around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Church and Main Streets in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Sullivan County Government Offices Closed Due To Storm Due to numerous power outages and downed trees, Sullivan County government offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 22, with the exception of 24-hour facilities.  Snowfall totals in the county range from 3 inches (Woodbourne) to a foot (Callicoon Center). Offices are expected to reopen on Monday, Nov. 25.  Police and fire will be on duty and available.  Be safe and avoid downed wires, said Dan Hust, Sullivan County communications director.

Newburgh Man Charged With Rape Of Children Under 11 In a shocking case, a Hudson Valley town has charged a 34-year-old man with rape for allegedly assaulting children under the age of 11. Orange County resident Kelvin Dubon-Rivas, of Newburgh, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 21, for predatory sexual assault against children and first-degree rape.
