Suspect On Run Following CT High-Speed Crash, Guns, Drugs Seized Police in New Haven County are searching for a suspect who allegedly ran a red light at a high rate of speed in a Mercedes and slammed into another vehicle, knocking down a light pole and injuring several. The incident occurred in the town of Orange around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at Boston Post Road in the left lane approaching Lambert Road. CT Man Admits Committing 37 Robberies Across State A Connecticut man has admitted to committing at least 37 violent robberies across the state in 2022.  Hartford County resident Lonny Cross, age 45, of Bristol, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 21, for the crimes that ranged from Hartford to Fairfield County and one in New York in September and October 2022, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Woman Charged With Elder Abuse At Care Center In Fairfield County A woman who worked as an aide at a Fairfield County care center has been charged with elder abuse after allegedly ignoring a man all night who had fallen out of bed. The incident occurred in Norwalk in November 2023 at the Fairfield Family Care Center. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, an investigation found that an older man was left unattended and injured after falling out of his bed during the overnight hours.  Detectives collected evidence, interviewed witnesses, and determined that New Jersey resident Lydia Lungile, age 40, of Newark, was the …
