Rocky Hill Student Resource Officer Will Jordan appeared on the Veteran's Day episode of the popular game show, but things didn't go as he had hoped.
During one round, Will admits he got caught up in the moment and his mind went blank at the wrong time. When he went to solve the puzzle "Give Yourself A Round Of Applause," he froze and said, "Give Yourself A Round of Sausage."
The clip immediately went viral.
Barstool Sports called him a "legend."
"Good Morning America" hosts couldn't stop laughing about it, but they hoped he got that round of sausage.
The clip also created a healthy debate online over whether it was the worst answer in "Wheel of Fortune" history or the best.
Even the show's X account weighed in.
And of course, there were the memes. So. Many. Memes.
Johnsonville, the meat company famous for its sausages, changed its X bio to "Treat Yourself To A Round of Sausage." However, the company hopes to turn Will's mistake into something good.
The company offered people free products if they post something kind they've done on X Wednesday, Nov. 13, for World Kindness Day. Use the #KeepTheInternetJuicy and include "Round of Sausage" in your reply for your free coupon.

Will knew his mistake would make him the butt of many jokes. In a TikTok video, he told Maggie Sajak, former host Pat Sajak's daughter, that he expected to find his police cruiser and locker filled with sausage from fellow officers once the episode aired.
Jordan told her he just hoped it would make people laugh.
