2 Found Dead Inside Burning Car In Oxford Connecticut State Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a burning car. Related: IDs Released For Bodies Found In Burned-Out Car The incident occurred in New Haven County around 4 a.m., Thursday, May 30, on Roosevelt Drive in Oxford. According to State Police, when troopers arrived, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished by the fire department, at which point it was discovered that there were two dead people inside.
