Waterbury Man, Age 30, Shot, Killed On Street
Police in Connecticut are investigating following a shooting on a city street that left a 30-year-old man dead.
The incident occurred in New Haven County around 12:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, in the area of 69 Washington St., in Waterbury.
According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, officers responded to Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, where the victim had been transported by a private vehicle.
The victim was identified as Roberto Baez of Waterbury, Bessette said. Baez later died from his injuries.

Norwalk Carjacking Suspect Caught, Police Say
A man wanted for a Fairfield County carjacking and an attempted carjacking has been captured by police.
New Haven County resident Tyssan Woods, age 18, of Waterbury, was arrested on Tuesday, May 14, for the Thursday, March 28 incident on Westport Avenue.
According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, the department received a call around 5 a.m., March 28, for an attempted carjacking at gunpoint in the area of Westport Avenue.
