Bannon, a conservative podcaster, is set to begin a four-month sentence at the federal prison in Danbury for defying a congressional subpoena that was investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riots. The 70-year-old had turned to the US Supreme Court to avoid reporting to prison. That request was denied on Friday, June 28, by the court.
