A man who allegedly beat another person so badly he remains in the hospital on a ventilator with a brain bleed has been arrested by police.
Ohireime Julian Osemobor, age 29, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, by Stamford Police for the violent assault of the 66-year-old man which took place around 10 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin.
On the evening of the attack, Patrol Division officers responded to the area of East Main Street and Quintard Terrace on a report of a man down on the sidewalk.

A 19-year-old Fairfield County resident was shot in the chest and killed during a get-together of car enthusiasts in the parking lot of an area raceway.
The incident took place around 10:45 p.m., Sunday, April 18, in the parking lot of the RPM Raceway at 600 West Ave., in Stamford, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon.
According to Scanlon, the department received a call reporting multiple victims from a shooting in the parking lot of the raceway.

Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck By SUV In Fairfield County
A 41-year-old is in critical condition after being hit by an SUV while crossing a roadway in Fairfield County.
The crash took place around 10:55 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, in the area of 162 Grove St., in Stamford, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth.
According to Booth, a 2005 Dodge Durango, being driven by a 35-year-old Stamford resident, was traveling southbound on Grove Street when it struck the person.
It is believed that the pedestrian, a Stamford resident, was attempting to cross Grove St. going from west to east at the time of the incident, Booth said.
