Man Nabbed Stealing $4K In Clothes From Greenwich Lululemon, Police Say
A man was nabbed by police in Fairfield County after allegedly stealing $4,628 of clothes from a popular store.
The incident occurred in Greenwich on Saturday, July 20, at Lululemon on Greenwich Ave.
According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Humberto Vega-Santiago, age 42, of the Bronx, New York, was apprehended by officers after he returned to the clothing store to commit another shoplifting act.
When confronted by officers, Vega-Santiago attempted to flee but was caught, Smyth said.

Smile, You're On Body Camera: TJ Maxx To Equip Employees To Fight Shoplifting
To fight the recent rise in shoplifting and retail theft, shoppers could see store security employees wearing body-worn cameras to help catch thieves red-handed.
TJX, the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Serria, HomeSense, and HomeGoods, said will begin equipping some employees with body-worn cameras similar to those worn by police, the Boston Globe reported. The company started testing the initiative last year.
The company operates nearly 3,400 stores nationwide.

A 19-year-old man was nabbed with more than $6,000 in stolen merchandise from Dick's Sporting Goods, while his two accomplices managed to get away, police said.
The incident occurred in New Haven County in Milford on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Dick's Sporting Goods store on Boston Post Road.
According to Milford Police, officers responded to the store after receiving a shoplifting complaint.
The loss prevention officer told police that Terrell Davis, age 19, of Saginaw, Michigan, and two other males select merchandise and bring them to the register, police said.

Target Thieves Use Fake Name, Found With Drugs In CT: Police
A duo accused of stealing hundreds from a Connecticut Target was also found to be in possession of drugs and under a false name, police said.
It happened on Sunday, Aug. 27 in New Haven County when the two Christopher Connors, age 45, and Nicholas Clark, age 43, reportedly walked into the Milford Target located at 1191 Boston Post Road (Route 1).
The duo put merchandise, totaling over $250, into a reusable shopping bag and walked out of the store without paying, police said.

Two Fairfield County women have been charged with allegedly shoplifting more than $2,600 in goods from a Connecticut Boscov.
The incident took place in New Haven County on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Boscov at 1201 Boston Post Road in Milford.
Yeni Cuatencos, age 21, and Maricela Cortez, age 41, both of Bridgeport, were allegedly spotted by a loss prevention officer putting items in a shopping bag and clothes hamper, said the Milford Police.

A man and a woman were arrested and accused of stealing more than $600 worth of merchandise from a Connecticut market.
Police in New Haven County responded to a report of shoplifting at Adams Hometown Market, located at 1391 New Haven Ave. in Milford, at about 4 p.m. on Monday, April 18, according to the Milford Police Department.
