Five teens were arrested this week after one of the children, fed up with being bullied, pulled knives against the four others, police said. Fairfield Police said a video circulating online shows the result of an "ongoing verbal harassment and bullying" campaign by four Fairfield kids against another middle school student. Fight Breaks Out, Leading To Lockdown At School In Fairfield County
A fight between several students caused a school to go into a temporary lockdown in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford on Tuesday, April 26 at Cloonan Middle School. In a letter to parents, Principal David Tate wrote that as a result of the fight, police were notified and responded to the campus. "During this time, we followed our standard protocols, and the school was placed on lockdown while we resolved this isolated incident," Tate said. Teachers, Staff Demand More Discipline For CT Principal Accused Of Using Racial Slur
Staff members from a Connecticut school district are calling on additional discipline for a magnet school principal who was recently demoted and removed from her position after allegedly using a racial slur. Earlier this month, the New Haven Board of Education voted 4-3 to reassign Brennan-Rogers Magnet School Principal Laura Roblee from her position after she allegedly used the racial slur this winter during a workshop on racism and inclusion.
