UConn Student Dies After Falling From Campus Parking Garage A UConn student died after falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement below. The incident occurred in Tolland County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 7 at the college in Storrs. According to Stephanie Reitz, director of communications for the college, UConn police and fire personnel responded following reports of a person falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement. The man, an undergraduate student whose identity has not yet been released, was taken to Windham Hospital in Willimantic with serious injuries, she said. The student later died at the …

Body Found On Roadway In Redding Connecticut State Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area of a roadway in Fairfield County. The incident happened in Redding on Route 53 also known as Glen Road on Sunday, Feb. 18. According to Connecticut State Police, the department is actively investigating the find and working to identify the body. Redding Police say there is no threat to the public.
