Drunk Naugatuck Motorist Injures Trooper, State Police Say
An area man was arrested after he was spotted allegedly swerving all over I-84, nearly hitting several vehicles while drunk and then injured a Connecticut state trooper.
Daniel G. Rapuano, 36, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 19, after state police responded to numerous 911 calls reporting an erratic driver on I-84, who was swerving across all three lanes and had nearly struck numerous vehicles, said the Connecticut State Police.
Several troopers responded to the area and spotted Rapuano east of West Hartford and were able to box him in and forced him to stop, state police said.…

Alejandro Ortiz, of Connecticut, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 24, on five outstanding warrants as well as the charges of:

Carrying a pistol without a permit, a felony
Carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, a felony
Interfering with an officer, a misdemeanor
Operating under a suspended license, a misdemeanor
Reckless driving, a misdemeanor
Failure to obey a traffic control signal, a moving violation, police said.
