Duo Nabbed With Drugs, Guns After Pursuit In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Connecticut couple was allegedly found with a large number of guns and fentanyl following a chase with police through Fairfield County.
The incident took place in Trumbull on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
According to Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir, officers arrested the occupants of a stolen Honda Passport after a short pursuit and recovered a number of drugs and two handguns during the apprehension.

Connecticut Lottery announced a number of big winners, including two residents who claimed $50,000 prizes.
New Haven County resident Kenneth Procino, of Milford, won a $50,000 Powerball prize, CT Lottery announced on Friday, Oct. 14.
The ticket was purchased at Jay's Mobil Mart, located at 1271 Stratfield Road in Fairfield, the lottery said.

Man, Woman Accused Of Robbing Victim Of Pair Of Shoes In CT At Gunpoint
Two Connecticut residents were charged with allegedly robbing a victim of a pair of shoes at gunpoint.
The incident took place in Middlesex County on Sunday, Oct. 9, in the parking lot of River Centre Plaza in Cromwell.
According to Capt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis of the Cromwell Police, police responded to 77 Berlin Road at the plaza for a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot.

Two Connecticut men have been arrested for allegedly carrying out multiple robberies this summer at People’s United Bank branches located in Stop & Shop supermarkets in the state.
Middlesex County residents, Gino Rizzo, age 28, and Jalania Pantano, age 27, both of Middletown, were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 30 on an indictment charging them with bank robbery offenses, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
