3 Masked Men, Getaway Driver Caught After Trying To Break Into Apartment In Bridgeport: Police Four men face numerous burglary, firearm, and drug charges after authorities observed them try and break into a Fairfield County apartment and then flee in a getaway car with counterfeit plates, police said.  The incident happened on Friday, April 28, when members of the Bridgeport Police Regional Auto Theft Task Force were operating in the area of Ridgefield Avenue and Barnum Avenue and spotted a gray Mercedes Benz C-300 with heavily tinted windows and counterfeit New Jersey registration plate circling an apartment building at 50 Ridgefield Ave.  After making …
