Woman, Dog Killed In CT House Fire A woman and her dog were killed during a Connecticut house fire. The incident took place in Hartford County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in a single-family home on Pequabuck Street in Bristol. Bristol firefighters responding to the two-alarm fire made an aggressive attack, suppressing a large body of fire in the kitchen and main living area, the Bristol Fire Department said. During a search following the fire, a woman and a dog were found inside the home, the department said. Both were pronounced dead. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. 1 Killed In 3-Vehicle CT Crash One person was killed and another injured during an early morning three-vehicle crash in Connecticut. The collision occurred in Hartford County around 5:15 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20 in the area of Waterville Road and Reverknolls in Avon. According to Lt. Man Accused Of Stealing Nearly $1K Worth Of Legos From CT Target Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly stole nearly $1,000 in LEGOs from a Target. The incident took place in Hartford County on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Target in Southington. According to the Southington Police Department, the man stole four sets of LEGOs valued at more than $800 and walked out of the store. Anyone able to identify the man is asked to contact Officer S. Fatal Fire: Body Found In Burned-Out CT Home During Welfare Check A person was found dead inside a Connecticut home following a fire. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11 on Alexander Road in Bloomfield. According to Capt. Stephen Hajdasz of the Bloomfield Police, police responded to the home for a welfare check of a 21-year-old man. Officers arrived to find the residence fully engulfed in flames. The officers attempted to gain entry to the residence but were unsuccessful.
