CT Man Attempts To Suffocate Milford Woman A Connecticut man is accused of attempting to strangle a woman during a domestic incident with a baby nearby. New Haven County resident Edgar Alamo, age 23, of Meriden, was arrested on the charges on Sunday, April 28 in Milford. According to the Milford Police, officers took custody of Alamo regarding two active arrest warrants stemming from separate incidents.  Alamo is accused of throwing a woman to the floor by her hair, choking her, and trying to suffocate her.
