Police Investigating Death Of Baby At CT Motel Police are investigating the death of a baby at a motel in Connecticut. Authorities in Hartford County responded to a report of a medical incident, which was described as a "fall," at the Motel 6 in Enfield at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, police said. After arriving at the scene at 11 Hazard Ave., investigators found the deceased "pre-term" baby, Enfield Police reported. The Enfield Police Department and the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad are continuing to investigate the case.

Fairfield County Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Hotel Shooting Police in Fairfield County have released the name of a man killed in a hotel parking lot. Ivan Whyte, age 23, of Bridgeport, was found dead around 11:33 p.m., Saturday, June 12, in Shelton at the Marriott Residence Inn at 1001 Bridgeport Ave. Police and EMS arrived and located Whyte, who was pronounced dead at the scene.  Whyte was located outside towards the back of the complex next to a vehicle, Shelton PD Lieutenant Robert Kozlowsky said.  It is believed Whyte was driving the vehicle in which he was located, Kozlowsky said. Woman Stabbed Multiple Times, Attacker Tased At CT Hotel, Police Say A Connecticut woman was stabbed multiple times and the attacker had to be tased twice by police before he could be subdued. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., Thursday, May 20, when the Windsor Locks Police Department received a call about a stabbing at the Candlewood Suites, said Lieutenant Paul Cherniack of Windsor Locks PD. According to Cherniack, a hotel guest told officers he saw a man and woman struggling outside a room and he was holding a knife.
