Police ID CT Pilot Killed When Plane Crashed Into Woods
A 69-year-old Connecticut man was killed earlier this week when the glider plane he was in crash-landed in the woods, authorities said. Bradley Daar, of Clinton, was identified as the pilot of the Single Engine Ultralight Glider that crashed in the Cedar Lake Road area of Deep River on Friday afternoon, March 14, Connecticut State Police said. Paramedics airlifted him to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Breeze Expanding At BDL With Nonstop Flights To Major North Carolina Region
Connecticut travelers will soon have a convenient way to get to the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. Breeze Airways is adding new nonstop flights from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks to Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) near Greensboro, NC. Plane Diverted To Bradley Airport After In-Flight Issue, Officials Say
A plane had to make an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport, an official said. The incident took place just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at the airport located in Hartford County, in the Town of Windsor Locks. An iAero Airways aircraft was diverted to Bradley after reporting an issue in flight. said Ryan Tenny, a spokesman for the Connecticut Airport Authority.
