The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued new guidance regarding quarantines for someone potentially exposed to COVID-19. Initially, the CDC recommended that anyone who may have been exposed to the virus enter a self-quarantine of at least 14 days to allow potential symptoms to subside. Although the positive COVID-19 rate in Connecticut dipped over the weekend, Gov. Ned Lamont’s health officials are still advising non-traditional, more muted, smaller Thanksgiving celebrations. In-person education may not be as great of an idea as many people - including the CDC - thought back in August. In October the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) removed guidelines from its website that promoted students learning in-person in school buildings. The majority of Americans say they are unlikely to comply with another possible lockdown as COVID-19 cases continue to mount across the country, according to a newly released poll.
