Ivy Santos, 18, of West Haven, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 28, after Milford Police responded to a parking lot at the Connecticut Post Mall for a report of an assault, said the Milford Police. An investigation by officers found that Santos allegedly punched another woman numerous times in the side of the head and in the face. She was charged with assault and breach of peace and released on a promise to appear ticket.

Woman Suspected Of Starting Beach, Brush Fire Is Arrested Police grabbed a suspect connected to one of 2020’s Milford brush fires. On Sunday, Dec. 13, Milford Police arrested a Stratford woman on an active warrant. Colleen Gallagher, 49, of Stratford, was taken into police custody around 9:20 p.m. Sunday. Gallagher allegedly set the brush fire at Walnut Beach in January this year, police said. Gallagher has been charged with reckless burning, criminal mischief in the third degree, and breach of peace in the second degree, police said. A court date has been scheduled for Gallagher, Jan. 18, 2021.

Stephanie Dearborn, 25, of Milford, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 10, in regards to the two warrants, said the Milford Police. Dearborn is accused of, in October, lifting a juvenile up by their shirt collar, pushing them against a glass door, and later attempting to hit the juvenile with closed fists, police said. Eric Lapenna, 33, of Milford, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 12, by Milford Police, said the Milford Police.  Lapenna is accused of threatening to hurt a woman that was driving him from an appointment. The female exited the vehicle and Lapenna then grabbed her purse, got in the driver’s seat, and drove away in her vehicle in June 2020.
