A 36-year-old man was charged after troopers reported that he drove in Westchester County while intoxicated at more than twice the legal limit. Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on I-287 in Rye at about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, New York State Police reported. The driver, identified as Luis Perez Paredes, of New Fairfield, Connecticut, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, authorities said. A Connecticut man was charged after police said he drove drunk in the Hudson Valley with three children in the car. A state trooper in Orange County saw an eastbound 2003 Ford Taurus on I-84 in Newburgh that was in violation of vehicle and traffic laws at about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, New York State Police reported. A 50-year-old man was charged after authorities said he drove on a highway in Westchester County while intoxicated at three times the legal limit. Police pulled a vehicle over for multiple vehicle and traffic violations on I-95 in New Rochelle at about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, according to New York State Police. A Fairfield County man driving with a blood alcohol concentration more than triple the legal limit was busted allegedly driving drunk during a midday ride on I-95 in Westchester, New York State Police investigators announced. State police troopers on patrol in New Rochelle stopped Greenwich resident Jesus M. Lopez Tapia at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25 for a vehicle and traffic violation while traveling on I-95 in New Rochelle. A Fairfield County woman was nabbed allegedly driving drunk at three times the legal limit following a crash between a car and a pickup truck. Damarys F. Correa, age 37, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 10 on Route I-90 in Schenectady County by New York State Police, after she struck a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Man Charged For Allegedly Driving In Westchester County With BAC Twice Legal Limit
Police said a Connecticut man has been charged for driving in Westchester County with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. On Friday, July 16, at about 11:15 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in Elmsford for a vehicle and traffic violation, New York State Police said. Police said the driver, Wilfredo Perez, of Stamford, was taken into custody. Authorities said Perez's blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, which is a misdemeanor charge.
