Former Fairfield County Football Standout Dies During Accidental Shooting A former Fairfield County teen who was a well-known staple on the football fields has been killed in an accidental shooting in Georgia. Zyon McDuffie, age 14, was killed on Sunday, Aug. 1, in the home his family had just moved to so his mother could take a new job at a hospital in Union City, Georgia. Teen Arrested After Accidentally Shooting Himself In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County teen was arrested for allegedly shooting himself in the arm and then lied about where the event happened. The incident took place around 1:15 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21, when Bridgeport Police responded 324 Lyon Terrace for a report of a person shot, said Bridgeport Police Captain Kevin Gilleran.
