Ryan Moan, a 33-year-old Connecticut school resource officer, was found dead by suicide around the time news broke that he'd been arrested on Friday, Dec. 6, Daily Voice has learned.
The 33-year-old Coventry resident was found having suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vehicle at the Hatch Hill Road boat launch in Vernon around 1:45 p.m., Vernon Police Chief Marc F. Petruzzi said.

Hainef Ramon Baker, 28, of Norwich, allegedly stole a Volkswagon parked outside a Valero gas station in Willimantic on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 4, authorities said. Several people, including Connecticut residents, were apprehended for impaired driving over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the Hudson Valley, including several incidents involving crashes and dangerous driving behaviors, authorities announced.
The arrests, which occurred in Putnam County between Tuesday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Dec. 4, were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
