Connecticut, Come On Down! Mohegan Sun Hosts Audition For 'Price Is Right' Who hasn't daydreamed about the prizes they could win on "The Price is Right" if they were just given the chance? Well, here's your chance.  The Mohegan Sun in New London County is hosting an open audition for the iconic daytime game show on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Gordon Ramsay's New CT Studio Kitchen Gets Roasted For Worldwide Debut On Hit Series After a year of work, Gordon Ramsay's new studio in Connecticut is ready for its primetime debut Thursday night, Sept. 26, on Fox.  The world-renowned chef and star plans to unveil the new kitchen at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket during the first episode of Season 23 of his hit series "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox. Glenn Close Says Fellow Nutmegger Inspired Her To Follow Her Dreams Into Acting Connecticut native Glenn Close has been nominated for an Academy Award eight times, but if it wasn't for a lucky break and a late-night talk show segment, she may have never gone into acting.  The "Fatal Attraction" star spoke with People magazine this week about her life and acting career, and she said it was Katherine Hepburn who inspired her to become an actress.  Fairfield County native Close, age 77, who was born in Greenwich, said she was watching "The Dick Cavett Show" in 1973 when she happened upon an interview with Hepburn, who was also born in Connecticut — in Hartford. …

Of course, that's New Haven, where the chef was found at not one but two of the area's favorites, Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana and Sally's Apizza.
