I-684 Crash: Police ID CT Victim Killed, Release Details In Weekend Southeast Collision Police have released the name of a Connecticut man killed in a fatal crash that shut down lanes on I-684 in Putnam County on Sunday morning, Jan. 26.  The two-car crash happened around 7:15 a.m. in the town of Southeast, according to New York State Police.  A preliminary investigation determined that a 23-year-old Mount Vernon, NY woman lost control of her vehicle in the northbound lanes, police said. Woman Killed In CT Head-On Collision That Sent 3 Teens To Hospital A 62-year-old woman was killed earlier this week in a head-on crash with an SUV in Fairfield County. Diane K. Staab, of Mahopac, New York, was identified as the victim who died in the crash, which occurred in New Fairfield on Monday, Jan. 13, shortly before 9:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police said. The crash happened on Ball Pond Road just north of Harvest Road. Staab's Jeep collided head-on with an oncoming SUV. 'Fly High': Father Of 3 ID'd As Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash A 44-year-old Connecticut man was identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash earlier this week, authorities said.  Heber Lopez, of Stamford in Fairfield County, was killed just after midnight on Thursday, Nov. 7, when his motorcycle hit a fence and tree on Long Ridge Road near Brook Run Lane, authorities said. Easton PD Chief Richard Doyle says the department received several 911 calls reporting a serious two-car crash on the roadway south of Center Road. 25-Year-Old Killed In CT Crash After Losing Control Of Vehicle: Police Authorities are investigating a fatal Connecticut crash that left a 25-year-old man dead.
