Suspicious Deaths: 2 Found Inside Burning Car In CT Connecticut State Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a burning car. Related: IDs Released For Bodies Found In Burned-Out Car The incident occurred in New Haven County around 4 a.m., Thursday, May 30, on Roosevelt Drive in Oxford. According to State Police, when troopers arrived, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished by the fire department, at which point it was discovered that there were two dead people inside. Man Parks SUV In Train's Path In Hudson Valley, Runs Away, Cops Say Police in New York say a Connecticut man intentionally parked his Chevy Equinox on train tracks in the path of a CSX train and then ran away only to be caught. The Hudson Valley incident occurred in Ulster County around 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, south of the Esopus Avenue railroad crossing in the town of Espous. According to Capt. Joseph Sciutto of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a train hitting a car.
