Child, 6, Hit By School Bus Suffers Serious Injuries A 6-year-old Connecticut boy was hospitalized on Thursday, Oct. 3, after he was struck by a school bus, authorities said.  The crash happened just after 4 p.m. near 24 Garden Hill Circle in Waterbury in New Haven County, police said.   Paramedics took the boy to Saint Mary’s Hospital, but he was transferred to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, Waterbury Police said.  The child is listed in stable condition, but he suffered serious injuries in the crash, police said.
