Intoxicated Driver Who Crashed Into CT Construction Worker in Stonington Caught: Police Authorities in Connecticut say they've caught a man who crashed into a construction worker on I-95 and sped away.  Fairfield County man Julio Leodan Macancela, age 46, of Danbury, was arrested in Rhode Island after being pulled over by police on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Connecticut State Police said.  A construction crew was working I-95 in the area of Exit 91-92 in Stonington in New London County around 6:30 p.m. when a GMC Sierra truck crashed into a worker and sped away, authorities said. Purse Forcibly Stolen From Woman In CT Library Parking Lot: Suspects At Large Authorities are looking for suspects traveling in a stolen vehicle who forcibly stole a purse from a woman in a Connecticut library parking lot.  The incident happened in New Haven County on Wednesday, June 26 just after:15 p.m., when an 80-year-old woman's purse was stolen in the parking lot of the Southbury Library at 100 Poverty Rd. after a short struggle, according to Southbury Police.  The suspects' vehicle was described as a black Cadillac XT5 with a Rhode Island registration 1BR577, which was later confirmed to have been stolen from Stonington, police said.
