Shooting Threats Made Against Crosby High, Another School
Shortly after police in Connecticut arrested a 15-year-old after accusing him of making a hoax shooting threat against a high school in New Haven County, officers received another message of violence, authorities said. The teenager is accused of making a social media post around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, that claimed there would be a shooting at Crosby High School in Waterbury, police said. Police Investigating 2 Suspicious Deaths In Ansonia
Police in New Haven County say they found two dead bodies on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, and are searching for what killed them, authorities said. Police in Ansonia were called to the 100 block of Westfield Ave., where the bodies were located. Officers do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community. Investigators have closed off a portion of Westfield Avenue from Jackson Street to Burton Street until they clear the crime scene. This is a developing story. Check back with Daily Voice for updates.

A 30-year-old Connecticut man will spend several years in prison after he was caught selling a deadly heroin and fentanyl mixture following a fatal overdose in the Hudson Valley. Panicked 911 calls about a possible intruder led to criminal charges for two Connecticut residents.
