A 41-year-old man was struck and killed while attempting to run across Interstate 95 in West Haven early Thursday morning, police said. Suniel Michael Ross, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died after being hit in the center median of I-95 near Exit 43 just before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, according to Connecticut State Police. A Connecticut man who works as a police sergeant in Rhode Island was found dead at a town hall in Windham County this week after having been reported missing, Daily Voice has learned. Scituate (Rhode Island) Police Sgt. Jason Riquier, 47, was discovered in a vehicle at the Sterling Town Hall on Monday, Jan. 13, law enforcement sources familiar with the incident confirmed. Woman Killed In CT Head-On Collision That Sent 3 Teens To Hospital
A 62-year-old woman was killed earlier this week in a head-on crash with an SUV in Fairfield County. Diane K. Staab, of Mahopac, New York, was identified as the victim who died in the crash, which occurred in New Fairfield on Monday, Jan. 13, shortly before 9:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
