Speeding Norwalk Man Nabbed For Warrants In Westport, Police Say A speeding Fairfield County man was nabbed for two active warrants for failure to appear, according to police. The incident took place in Westport on Tuesday, Aug. 22 on Post Road West. Raymond Selvyn, age 21, of Norwalk, was charged with two counts of failure to appear and vehicle violations when the Westport Police Traffic Division was running stationary radar on Post Road West in the area of Burr Road, said Lt. Fairfield Woman, 44, Killed In I-95 Westport Crash A Fairfield County woman was killed after allegedly running into the back of a tanker on I-95 that was stopped for backed-up traffic. Julia Delva Clarke, age 44, of Fairfield, was killed around 12:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, in Westport, said the Connecticut State Police. A preliminary investigation found that Clarke was traveling north in the right lane in a 2019 Porsche Macan when she ran into the back of a Freightliner Cascadia which was towing a Kenworth tanker, state police said. Jennifer Lindstrom, age 56, of Westport, was found around 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 at her home on Oak Ridge Park. Westport Police responded to the residence at approximately 11 a.m. Thursday after a housekeeper arrived and found Lindstrom unresponsive at the bottom of a staircase leading to the basement, said Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police.  Lindstrom has been transported from the scene to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy, Woods said. …

Woman Found Dead In Westport Home, Police Investigating As 'Untimely Death' Police are investigating after a Fairfield County woman was found dead in her home. The 56-year-old Westport woman was found around 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, said Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police. Officers responded to an address in town on a report of an unresponsive female, which is being called an "untimely death," Woods said.  The Westport Police Detective Bureau, with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Unit, are on the scene. Man Wanted In Westport Store Larceny Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with two toy store larcenies.  The incidents took place in Westport on Monday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 11, at Awesome Toys at 429 Post Road East (Route 1).  According to Lt. Fatal Crash: 35-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In 2-Vehicle I-95 Collision In Westport A 35-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County. It happened just before 6:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5 on the northbound side in Westport when Connecticut State Police say a motorcycle collided with a car in front of it. The victim, identified as Frank Brown, of Waterbury, was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. None of the five people in the other vehicle, a 2007 Honda Odyssey, was injured.
