ID Released For Westchester Resident Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train
The identity has been released of a person who was killed after being struck by a train at a station in New York. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Westchester County when the man trespassing on tracks at the Port Chester station was struck by the Stamford-bound Metro-North train on Track 3, according to an MTA spokesperson. A 30-year-old Connecticut man faces several charges after allegedly stealing from an elderly residential facility in New York, police said. Police in Fairfield County nabbed a violent kidnapper who fled from Westchester County after committing the alleged crime. The incident took place in Greenwich early Thursday, Sept. 21. A 30-year-old man who was allegedly found sleeping behind the wheel of his car in Fairfield County has been charged with driving under the influence. Westchester County resident Alexander Ramos-Sanchez, of Harrison, was arrested in Darien on Saturday, Sept. 2. According to Sgt. A New York man was caught stealing cooking oil from a local Connecticut restaurant in an early-morning escapade, police said. The New Haven County incident happened on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Milford, the city’s police department announced.
