Wind Advisory: 50 MPH Gusts During Round Of Storms Could Cause Power Outages A strong cold front will be ushered in by a round of heavy thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts that could cause power outages. A Wind Advisory has been issued for the region from 6 p.m. Monday, March 7 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, the National Weather Service announced. Gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are possible during that time. "Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service said.
