Fatal Crash: 43-Year-Old ID'd As Victim On I-84 In West Hartford One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on a stretch of I-84 in Connecticut. It happened at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 on the westbound side in West Hartford. The victim, Joey Antoine Roldan, age 43, of East Hartford, was driving a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle east of Exit 40 when, for an unknown reason, he lost control, Connecticut State Police said. During the collision sequence, the motorcycle fell to its side, and Roldan became detached from it. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 4 Killed In Head-On Crash On CT Roadway Four people were killed in a head-on crash on a Connecticut roadway overnight. The incident happened around 11 p.m. Friday, July 19, in Waterbury on Thomaston Avenue when a car traveling south slammed into a northbound vehicle, causing both vehicles to burst into flames, according to authorities. According to Chief Fernando Spagnolo of the Waterbury Police Department, an investigation determined both vehicles were speeding. New Haven County resident Michael Arthur Miller, of East Haven, died around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, in Oxford. According to the Connecticut State Police, Miller was riding his Harley-Davidson FLHT Classic eastbound on Silano Drive when he entered the Route 188 intersection and was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck traveling southbound. It happened around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Grist Mill Road and the Route 7 connector in Norwalk. After being sent to the scene, emergency responders found a vehicle in the embankment, according to Norwalk Police.
