CT State Troopers Smash Allegedly Drunk Driver’s Window
Connecticut State Police had to smash a window and use a taser on a 24-year-old man before charging him with alleged drunk driving. The incident occurred in Middlesex County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on 1-91 northbound in Middletown between the rest area and Exit 20. According to State Police, troopers found a black GMC Sierra pickup with a Massachusetts license plate parked in the right climbing lane and several damaged DOT traffic cones. Man, Woman Nabbed For Robbery At CT Stop & Shop
A Connecticut man and woman have been arrested for allegedly robbing a supermarket using a taser. The incident took place around 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, when the Old Saybrook Police Department in Middlesex County received a 911 call from an employee at the Super Stop & Shop, located at 105 Elm St. According to Old Saybrook Chief of Police Michael A. Spera, the 911 caller reported that a woman was in the process of exiting the store with stolen merchandise.
