Drowning: Woman Dies After Being Found In Family Member's Pool In Shelton A woman found unresponsive in a pool at a Fairfield County home later died. The incident took place in Shelton on Sunday, Sept. 3 around 4:15 p.m. at a home on Huntington Street. According to Det. Richard Bango of the Shelton Police, a family member arrived home and found the 68-year-old woman unresponsive in the pool. The woman, who has not been identified, was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport where she was pronounced dead, Bango said.
