Botched Robbery: Man Charged In Near-Fatal Stamford Shooting A man has been charged in connection with a near-fatal shooting during a botched robbery in Fairfield County. The shooting occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, Feb. 9 in the rear driveway of 146 Henry St. in Stamford. When police arrived on the scene they found a man who had been shot in the stomach causing life-threatening injuries.
