New Update: Math Coach Who Allegedly Used Chokehold On Student In Norwalk Resigns
A math coach who allegedly used a chokehold on an elementary student until they were unconscious in Fairfield County has resigned from her job.
The incident took place in Norwalk on Friday, Feb. 24 at Brookside Elementary School.
Following an investigation, Stefanie Sanabria, age 50, of Danbury, was arrested on a warrant at her home, said Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, of the Norwalk Police.
She resigned from the school on the same day, said Emily Morgan, spokeswoman for the Norwalk School District.

A math coach at a Connecticut school has been charged with strangulation after allegedly using a chokehold on an elementary student in Fairfield County until the child became unconscious.
The incident took place in Norwalk on Friday, Feb. 24 at Brookside Elementary School.

Alleged Drug Dealer Nabbed Again In Norwalk, Police Say
An accused drug dealer was busted for a second time following a year-long investigation in Fairfield County.
Donald "Showbizz" Flamer, age 42, of Norwalk, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 7 following the execution of search warrants at his Norwalk home on Ely Avenue, said Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police.
The warrants are the result of a year-long investigation into continuing narcotics trafficking by Flamer who is currently out on bond from a Wednesday, April 13, 2022, narcotics arrest, Dinho said.

ID Released For Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Fairfield County Crash
Police in Fairfield County have identified a man killed during a single-car crash that injured three others.
The crash took place in Norwalk around 8 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 27, on Martin Luther King Drive.
According to Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police, Oscar Abraham Valdovinos, age unknown, of Norwalk, was a passenger in the car when it crashed.
When emergency services responded closing a section of Martin Luther King Dr., after discovering a large debris field and an occupant who had been ejected from the one-vehicle accident, Dinho said.
