School officials and police in a Connecticut district are investigating after multiple anti-semitic incidents occurred at a middle school. The incidents took place in Middlesex County at Beman Middle School in Middletown. Thanks to some great detective work, a man and woman both face charges in connection with a stolen vehicle that was found parked at a Connecticut Walgreens, police announced. Connecticut State Police are warning residents of another phone bail scam to which at least one resident has fallen victim. State Police report the latest incident took place in Middlesex County on Friday, Feb. 16 in East Haddam when a resident gave money to an alleged scammer after receiving a call that a family member was in trouble. A 78-year-old Connecticut woman has been charged with 55 counts of alleged cruelty to animals after a dog had to be put down due to severe medical conditions. Middlesex County resident Jean E. Jameson of the town of Deep River was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 25. CT Corrections Officer Charged With Murder In Road-Rage Shooting, Police Say
A 32-year-old Connecticut corrections officer has been charged with the alleged murder of another man during a road-rage incident. William Lucky Jr., of North Haven, turned himself in to Connecticut State Police on Tuesday, Jan. 23 for the shooting which took place on I-691 on Jan. 14 in Meriden. According to the arrest warrant and information from State Police, Lucky admitted to shooting Middlesex County resident Scott Kracke, age 49, of Middlefield, during a confrontation on the side of I-691 in Meriden after a road rage incident. Missing CT Woman Found Dead
A Connecticut woman who was reported missing last week has been found dead. Middlesex County resident Palma Hydross, age 66, of Westbrook, was reported missing on Thursday, 18 on Toby Hill Road, said the Connecticut State Police. A Silver alert was issued, but was later canceled, police said. Troopers said her body was found just before 10:40 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 20.
