Two Die In Weekend Crashes In Same Connecticut Town A 17-year-old on a moped and 51-year-old man died in Connecticut in separate crashes in the same town over the weekend. The first crash took place around 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 in East Hartford when a moped driver was hit by a passenger vehicle on Route 5, said authorities. The moped operator, Manuel Suarez, 17, of East Hartford, suffered serious injuries and was treated by paramedics on scene, then transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, said Lieutenant Joshua Litwin, of the East Hartford Police.  The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is c…
