Fairfield County Native Shot To Death At Age 35 Remembered As 'Kind, Gentle Person' Family and friends are remembering a Connecticut man who was shot to death at his home. New Haven County resident Justin Spray, of Milford, died at the age of 35 on Wednesday, May 25, after he was shot “by a mentally ill person with a gun at his home,” his obituary said. Police had been called to his home on Edgefield Avenue just before 1 p.m. with reports of a fight and possible gunfire, according to Milford Police. Officers found Spray lying in the yard with a gunshot wound to his upper body, police said. He later died at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Witnesses held the alleged gunman,…

Juvenile Apprehended After Reports Of Person Waving Gun Near CT Beach A juvenile has been charged with carrying a dangerous weapon after he was spotted in three different places, including a Connecticut beach, waving a "Tommy" gun. The incidents took place in New Haven County on Tuesday, May 24, and Wednesday, May 25, in Milford. CT Man Nabbed Stealing Catalytic Converter From Vehicle In Driveway, Police Say A Connecticut man was charged with larceny after allegedly being caught in the act of stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the driveway of a home. New Haven County resident Anthony Machia, age 38, of Milford, was arrested on Wednesday, April 13. Machia was caught after Milford Police responded to 39 Baker St. regarding possible larceny in progress.  The victim stated he had been in his garage at this time and heard a noise that he believed sounded like cutting metal, police said.
