CT Woman Accused Of Attacking, Injuring Pair Of Police Officers A Connecticut woman is behind bars after allegedly attacking and injuring two police officers who were performing a welfare check. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, in Windsor Locks. According to Lt. Paul Cherniack of the Windsor Locks Police, the two officers, one a case manager, were checking on Erica Verona, age 22, of Windsor Locks, who has a long history of aggressive behavior. Bridgeport Man Charged After 4-Hour Crime Spree Robbing Multiple Women, Sexually Assaulting 1 A Fairfield County man has been charged after allegedly attacking and robbing multiple women over four hours. Cecil Mills, age 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 24 after a vehicle pursuit, crash, and foot chase that ended near the intersection of North Avenue and Madison Avenue. According to Det. Detective Jeffrey Holtz of the Bridgeport Police, the victims all report being followed by what turned out to be a stolen Toyota Camry, before being robbed and assaulted.  Mills was charged with sexually assaulting one of the three women he allegedly robbed.…

81-Year-Old Accused Of Shooting Another Hunter In Head, Lying To Police An 81-year-old Connecticut man was charged with allegedly shooting another hunter in the head and then lying to police about it. Hartford County resident James Dina, of South Windsor, turned himself in to police on Wednesday, Dec. 13 on an active arrest warrant. Dina's charges stem from a Friday, Nov. 17 incident in which he negligently shot another hunter and lied about it to police during an investigation, said Sgt.
