The incident occurred in Westport around 3;15 a.m., Sunday, March 10. According to the Connecticut State Police, Cory Gomes. age 22, of Fairfield, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes on I-95 near Exit 17 in Westport in a Honda CRV when he drove through a construction area and crashed. New York resident Zhicheng Wu, of Flushing, Queens, was stopped in Middlesex County around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 in the area of Westbrook. Connecticut State Troopers spotted Wu passing traffic at a high rate and clocked him at speeds of 120 mph in a 65 mph zone, the department said.
