The wreck happened Sunday, Sept. 3, in Darien on Hollow Tree Ridge Road near Allwood Road, according to Darien Police. An investigation found that Griffin Makovsky, of Norwalk, was speeding and ran a stop sign before crashing over a rock wall and striking a tree.
